How do I stop getting spams from Apple Associates Marketing affiliates?!?

I get a ton of spam emails every day, and at the bottom of each one it says:

"The attached promotional material was sent to you by Apple Associates Marketing.

As a member of our service we strive to provide you with only relevant and timely information, and sincerely thank you for reading ourcorrespondences.

This material is in no way an endorsement or guarantee of any kind by Apple Associates of the product or service offered.

To contact us directly, please mail Apple Associates, P O box 17598 #16340 , Baltimore, Maryland 21297-1598 and a customer service representative will assist you with your concerns.

To unsubscribe from future special offers and promotions, click here."

However, when you click to unsubscribe, it only unsubscribes you for that particular business that is using them to spam to your account. I want to block Apple Associates altogether!

Do I really have to contact them through mail? Isn’t it against the law to not respect the wish to unsubscribe to promotions? Is this just a loophole for them to get out of it?

Why on earth are you opening this junk? Every time you open spam, you notify the spammer that yours is a real, live email address. He collects and sells that information to other spammers, and your spam load increases. Instead of worrying about how to "unsubscribe" why not concentrate on putting UNKNOWN EMAIL IN SPAM – UNOPENED.

If you did not ask for those mailings, then treat them as spam. Stop opening them, as that alerts the senders that your address is valid and they send you loads more spam. Check mark them and click on ‘Spam,’ this should stop those addresses from being delivered to your inbox.
Use your spam guard and block address.
Look for the ‘Options’ link at upper right corner of mail screen and click on it
Options /mail options
Click on ’spam’ in the list on the left.
Make sure spam guard is on, by checking in the little box.
Then in ‘Blocked Email Addresses,’ enter the E-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after ‘Add a blocked address’ and click on the ‘add’ button, then click on save changes at top left of screen.
You will never get mail from that address again.
This should help you to control your spam.
Other tips:
Never open E-mail unless you are absolutely sure who it is from.
Never give out your personal information to anyone.
If you are on a site and you absolutely have to sign up for something, check the entire page to make sure you uncheck any lines wanting to send you any other info, notices, catalogs, ads, and the like.
Added detail:
Yes, spammers change one item in their addresses a lot, so you might try blocking the entire domain, by putting in
*@ thedomainyouwanttoblock.com
for instance: *@seeyou.com
Or, if they change the domain, instead of the company name you can block the name by putting in Imatheft_inc@*
Hope this helps.
